Owner and Master stylist of Isla James Salon, she named the salon after her fierce and beautiful only daughter named Isla James. Jeffie moved to Maui in 2006 after 4 years of mainland training and apprenticeship in downtown Seattle and has since continued her education annually all over the world and specializes in textured cuts and styles, color (especially blondes!), balayage, and intense hair repair.
Megan is Jeffie’s apprentice!!! She and Jeffie have been a team since June of 2021, bringing to the table prior styling experience as an independent contractor and working on sets of film and tv production. Hair and makeup has always been a passion for her and she’s just flying through the IJS apprenticeship program. Take advantage of her special pricing (and amazing talent) while you can!
I have been making waves in the hair industry since the year 2000! I am an extension & LOC technician, working with a multitude of hair textures since 2003, blending textures seamlessly & rocking out some fresh cuts/fades over the years. Passions spill over into color as well -fantasy colors make me purrr with delight! Seeing someone’s smile after they’ve been heard & gifted a grrreat service makes my heart sing. With a well rounded cosmetology background, I am sure to satisfy ~a hui hou
