Jeffie Harris

Owner and Master stylist of Isla James Salon, she named the salon after her fierce and beautiful only daughter named Isla James. Jeffie moved to Maui in 2006 after 4 years of mainland training and apprenticeship in downtown Seattle and has since continued her education annually all over the world and specializes in textured cuts and styles, color (especially blondes!), balayage, and intense hair repair.

Megan Schneckloth

Megan is Jeffie’s apprentice!!! She and Jeffie have been a team since June of 2021, bringing to the table prior styling experience as an independent contractor and working on sets of film and tv production. Hair and makeup has always been a passion for her and she’s just flying through the IJS apprenticeship program. Take advantage of her special pricing (and amazing talent) while you can!

Benji Holtz

I have been making waves in the hair industry since the year 2000! I am an extension & dread/lock technician, working with a multitude of hair textures since 2003, blending textures seamlessly & rocking out some fresh cuts/fades over the years. Tahira Pfeifle

I grew up right here on this beautiful island of Maui! I have been doing hair for fourteen years, spending the last ten in Huntington Beach California, learning the most up to date, hot market trends, styles, cuts and color techniques. I have taken courses with specialized training in Balayage, razor cutting, creative color, dimensional blondes and men’s grooming. I’m so excited to be home, and so excited to get my hands in your hair!!!

With over 15 years in the industry, Katie has worked behind the chair as well as traveled on the road doing hair for weddings, shows, actors and musicians. Her passion is helping women feel beautiful and empowered thru feeling confident in their own appearance. Katie specializes in lived in color, personalized cuts and curly hair. Trained with Schwarzkopf, Redken, Loreal, Tigi, Toni & Guy, Hotheads & Platinum Seamless Extensions, as well as Hollywood salon Nine Zero One color techniques.
