Owner and Master stylist of Isla James Salon, she named the salon after her fierce and beautiful only daughter named Isla James. Jeffie moved to Maui in 2006 after 4 years of mainland training and apprenticeship in downtown Seattle and has since continued her education annually all over the world and specializes in textured cuts and styles, color (especially blondes!), balayage, and intense hair repair.
Megan is Jeffie’s apprentice!!! She and Jeffie have been a team since June of 2021, bringing to the table prior styling experience as an independent contractor and working on sets of film and tv production. I grew up right here on this beautiful island of Maui! I have been doing hair for fourteen years, spending the last ten in Huntington Beach California, learning the most up to date, hot market trends, styles, cuts and color techniques. I have taken courses with specialized training in Balayage, razor cutting, creative color, dimensional blondes and men’s grooming. I’m so excited to be home, and so excited to get my hands in your hair!!!
